Central City issued the following announcement on Dec. 9.
COVID-19 Vaccine Update: State of Colorado rolled out a COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan. The three-phase plan will give first priority to people who have direct contact with COVID-19 patients for fifteen minutes or more, such as emergency room workers and staff at long-term care facilities, and then others will follow according to the chart .
We will continue to update as Central City learns more from the State and Gilpin County Public Health Agency about plans for vaccine distribution in our area.
