Of the 2,742 people living in Leadville city in 2019, 43.1 percent (1,181) were women and 56.9 percent (1,561) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central Colorado News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 980-to-767. In the 65 and over age range, there were 187 females and 136 males.
