Of the 5,812 people living in Gilpin County, Colorado in 2021, 47.1% (2,738) were women and 52.9% (3,074) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by Central Colorado News.

Data showed the average age for men in Gilpin County in 2021 was 49 years, higher than the national average of 40 for men.
