How many people were old enough to vote in Pitkin County during 2021?

Of the 17,471 citizens living in Pitkin County in 2021, 83.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 14,532 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 7,626 were male, constituting 52.5%, and 6,906 were female, making up 47.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Pitkin County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
