Census Bureau: 83.7% of people in Summit County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 31,042 citizens living in Summit County in 2021, 83.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 25,990 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 14,221 were male, constituting 54.7%, and 11,769 were female, making up 45.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Summit County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
