4.8% of citizens unemployed in Chaffee County in 2021

Chaffee County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.8% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 450 people out of the 19,436 living in Chaffee County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Chaffee County has increased compared to the 2.3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Chaffee County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.6%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
