Eagle County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.9% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,314 people out of the 55,693 living in Eagle County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Eagle County has remained fairly stable compared to the 3.9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Eagle County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.6%.

Of the 32,585 people who had a job during that time, 76 were employed in the Armed Forces and 32,509 belonged to the civilian labor force.
